Thank you for your patience today!

Unfortunately, we had to close the library this afternoon to allow for a very large delivery of sheet rock and other construction supplies (see below).  We are so sorry to have had to inconvenience our patrons, but the sheet rock had to be unloaded through the front door and brought across the library and downstairs, so we had to close due to safety concerns.  We will be reopening tomorrow at 9am to return to our regular schedule. 

And now we are insulated!

Big changes in our basement as the "walls" of insulation went in today.  The library will close at 1pm on Tuesday, March 19th to allow for a tricky sheet rock delivery -- we are sorry to inconvenience our patrons, but please know that our contractor is doing all he can to make this process as swift and painless as is possible.  We will reopen on Wednesday, March 20th at 9am, and there will be no overdue fines charged for materials due on the 19th, but returned in the book drop or on the 20th.

More basement updates...

The basement renovation project is continuing to move in the right direction! You may not be able to see much difference in these latest photos, but trust me, massive amounts of work have been accomplished: the framing is all in, the electrical and plumbing is in place, the AV wiring is done, the HVAC installation is in progress...  Very soon we hope to see soundproofing and sheetrock!
